Nadia Comaneci, (born November 12th of November, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej, (presently Onesti] Romania) Romanian gymnast who was the first gymnast to receive a score of a perfect of 10 in the Olympic event. Bela Karrolyi is the Romanian gymnastics teacher who was later Comaneci's coach who first came across Comaneci at the age of six. Comaneci participated for the first time in the national junior championships and finished 13th. Following that, she became champion. She took home three golds at her debut competition, a junior pre-Olympic meet in 1972 for the communist bloc nations. The following year, 1973 as well as 1974, she was the junior all-round champion. The athlete won four golds and one silver medals in her first international competition for seniors that took place in 1975. This was the first time she had competed as a senior. She was the first woman ever to successfully perform a backwards double salto while dismounting from an uneven parallel bar. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She began her career in entertainment as a teenager performing as the figure skating duo of their sister Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment show Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne is a United States citizen, born on the 6th of September 1942 in Chicago Illinois. Carol started her entertainment career in her teens. At the age of a girl she started her career as the figure skater alongside Nina Wayne in the travelling show of entertainment Ice Capades. Ice Capades showcased performances of skaters ice skating with actors.
