Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou, the oldest of her four siblings, was born on the 8th of August 1976 in Beaumont Puy-de Domme. The parents of Audrey Tautou who was both dentists and teacher, were aware of and encouraged their daughter's love for drama and theater at the age of a stage novice. Their support was more than enough to thwart her initial goal of becoming a the first primatologist. She rose to prominence as a child actor quickly and enjoyed enormous achievement. After completing her studies She was a part of the French show for spotting talent Jeunes Premiers which was sponsored by Canal+. She won the Most Outstanding Young Actress prize at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors and began her career as an actress. Tautou, who attended the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris when she was a kid and enrolled in the school at an early age she has since renounced her Catholic upbringing. She now says she is not a Catholic. Along with her acting career, she pursued a modelling career. It is her turn to be the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is sometimes referred to as the Chanel Muse. Alongside her acting work she also has an interest in photography. The actress recently showed some photos in the Arles Film Festival, under the name Superficial. Her photography largely focuses on celebrity and fame, and then turns her camera to the journalists who scrutinised her after her meteoric rise to fame with Amelie as well as a series of self-portraits. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom as well as international recognition with her first big role, starring as the lead in The Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Pouulain. Amelie was a worldwide box office success, and received accolades at awards galas around the globe. It's also the biggest French language film ever to be released in the US. After the release of this film, Tautou starred in many films that ranged from British dramas up to Jean Pierre Jeunet's film Un long dimanche de fiancailles. After that, she shifted to Hollywood and was in the film with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
